What God's Word says about you

A new beginning

Salvation doesn't come from the words of a prayer. It comes from God's grace, received by trusting Jesus. If you turned to Him in honest faith, here is what Scripture promises.

You are made new

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”2 Corinthians 5:17

You are God's child

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”John 1:12

You can be sure

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”1 John 5:13
Born again

New life by God's Spirit

Being born again means God gives you new spiritual life on the inside. His Holy Spirit lives in you, guides you, and grows His character in you over time.

“That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”John 3:6
“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”Galatians 5:16
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”Galatians 5:22-23

Simple daily habits

  • Talk with God every day, honestly and simply.
  • Read a little of the Bible each day, starting with John.
  • Find a Bible-believing church where you can grow with others.
  • Ask a pastor about being baptized, as Jesus commanded (Matthew 28:19).

Pour out your heart
